Why Locals Love Qanaah Coffee
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Shah Alam at 11A, Jalan Pinang E 18/E, Seksyen 18, Qanaah Coffee stands out as a cozy haven for coffee lovers seeking both quality and warmth. This inviting coffee shop offers an impressive yet approachable menu that caters to diverse palates, featuring expertly brewed beverages like the silky Hot Latte (MYR 7.00), indulgent Hot Mocha (MYR 8.00), refreshing Iced Mocha (MYR 9.00), and the comforting Iced Chocolate (MYR 8.00). Each cup is crafted with care, delivering a harmonious balance of flavors that linger delightfully with every sip.
What truly makes Qanaah Coffee resonate with its customers, beyond the delicious offerings, is the genuine friendliness and attentiveness of the owner and barista. Reviews repeatedly highlight the owner's warm hospitality and willingness to accommodate personal preferences, such as upgrading to oat milk or adjusting the bitterness of their specialty blends. Customers like Aisha AESMEN appreciate the “Barista Edition” blend for its complex, slightly bitter aftertaste, and the option to request ceremonial-grade tea for a milder profile adds a thoughtful touch to the experience.
Beyond the beverage quality, this coffee shop captures a sense of community and approachable comfort. While some guests wish the shop opened earlier to kick-start their mornings with a fresh cup, Qanaah Coffee’s late hours—closing at 12:30 am—make it a perfect spot for late-night coffee fix after events like tarawih prayers, as shared by regular Along Fairuzah. The atmosphere, although described as understated and quiet especially on discount Fridays, provides a relaxed environment that encourages savoring each crafted drink, whether enjoyed on-site or as a convenient takeaway.
Qanaah Coffee shines through its dedication to affordable yet thoughtfully prepared coffee. It’s not merely a place to grab a caffeine boost but a retreat where the complexity of flavors meets heartfelt service, leaving you feeling welcomed and appreciated. Whether you're indulging in their bittersweet double shot café latte or exploring their delightful matcha options, Qanaah Coffee promises a comforting and authentic coffee journey that keeps loyal customers returning.
For anyone in Shah Alam craving a well-made cup of coffee paired with friendly smiles, Qanaah Coffee is undeniably worth the visit.

Went here a few times, great experiences everytime. The owner is friendly, coffee taste great and affordable. Waiting time is decent. My only hope is that the shop open earlier. I just like drinking coffee early in the morning

Great take-away spot for reasonably priced Matcha in SA! Very smooth and absolutely love their Barista Edition blend as I personally prefer a more bitter after-taste. You can also request for the ceremonial grade tea if you prefer a milder version, just ask the barista! He’s a very nice guy. Just need to improve the shop’s vibe, a bit dull Friday with RM3-off discount, can refer my photo for details

This cafe is quite small, so you might miss it. But overall experience was great. Ordered Hot Matcha Latte for dine-in but quite disappointed to be served in a paper cup instead of a tea cup. The matcha tastes slightly bitter (2/5) and a bit umami (3/5). Might tastes a bit better with half pump of sugar. The barista might have forgotten to turn on the A/C, so it's a bit hot. But it's not his fault either that I didn't ask to turn it on.
